Other Procedures
Whether you’re satisfied with your smile or would like to discuss improving the appearance of your teeth, we can help. We specialize in many cosmetic dental procedures to enhance your teeth and keep them healthy.
We specialize in the Zoom!™ teeth whitening system, one of the most effective tooth whitening procedures available. Safe, fast, and convenient, the Zoom!™ in-office teeth whitening system uses a combination of formulated lighting and hydrogen peroxide-based bleach to whiten teeth—typically by six to 10 shades—in one brief office visit. With simple, regular home touch-ups and careful maintenance, a beautiful Zoom!™ smile can last indefinitely.
During the procedure, Zoom!™ whitening gel is carefully applied to the enamel (the tooth's protective coating) and heated by a special Zoom!™ whitening lamp. After one hour, the gel is removed, and a five-minute fluoride treatment is administered. The result is brighter, whiter teeth that are essentially free of coffee, tea, soft drink, wine, or tobacco stains. Please contact us to find out if Zoom!™ is right for you.
For teeth badly damaged by decay or wear, porcelain onlays and inlays can help restore them. Porcelain inlays are used when just the chewing surface of the tooth needs repair. Porcelain onlays, also referred to as partial crowns, are used when more coverage is required. Porcelain inlays and onlays offer many advantages over traditional fillings. They are very durable and last for many years, and the porcelain can be matched to the natural color of the teeth so they’re virtually undetectable. For more information about this procedure or to schedule an appointment or consultation, please contact us.
Although dental implants often last a lifetime, sometimes they require repair. If your dental implants are damaged or worn down, talk to us about dental implant restoration. We offer many options to restore your dental implants to their original natural beauty. Contact us to schedule an appointment!
Tooth crowns, also referred to as “caps,” are natural-looking covers that fit snugly over your teeth to conceal cracked, badly discolored, injured, or chipped teeth. In addition to their esthetic benefits, tooth crowns can minimize physical mouth discomfort and provide support to damaged teeth and facial muscles. Crowns can improve the overall appearance of your smile while making your teeth more resistant to injury. For more information about crowns, please contact us.
If you have gaps in your smile due to missing teeth, a fixed bridge may offer a solution. A fixed bridge literally bridges the gap between missing teeth using a combination of two tooth crowns on either side of a natural-looking replacement tooth. The replacement tooth fills the gap and the tooth crowns fit over the natural teeth on each side of the gap, anchoring the replacement tooth securely into place.

Many people suffer from problems with their temporomandibular joint without knowing they are suffering from TMJ. The temporomandibular joint connects the lower jaw to the area of the skull located in front of the ear on either side of the face. This joint allows the jaw to move when your mouth moves, such as when yawning, talking, or chewing.
If you have unexplained headaches or aches in the neck, shoulders or upper back, experience a clicking or popping noise in your jaw or your jaw locks when you open your mouth, have pain or swelling in your face, or are experiencing discomfort in your jaw or facial muscles, you may be suffering from TMJ. Left untreated, TMJ can lead to tooth damage and loss that can necessitate surgery to correct. If you suspect you have TMJ, contact us to schedule a consultation and discuss your symptoms.
If there is a flash of silver when you laugh or smile contact us about tooth colored fillings. Healthy and natural-looking, tooth colored fillings are made of durable resin or porcelain that is bonded to your teeth. The result is a strong, esthetically pleasing, virtually undetectable filling. To find out if tooth-colored fillings are a good option for you, please contact us.
Full and Partial Removable Dentures
For patients who have lost all or a few of their teeth, we offer custom made full and partial removable dentures.
Dentures are an excellent option for people who have lost all their teeth. Precisely designed and molded to fit one’s mouth, full dentures slide over the gums and are held in place with strong cheek and mouth muscles. They allow for comfortable chewing and keep the mouth and its surrounding facial features in proper alignment.
Partial or removable dentures fill gaps left by missing teeth. Partial dentures are held in place with metal clasps or precision devices (tooth-colored, discreet clasps) that are attached to natural teeth. Usually made of resin or metal, partial dentures allow more comfortable and effective chewing, improve speech, and prevent sagging of the cheeks and lips.
To learn more about our full and partial removable dentures and to discuss which option is best for you, please contact us to schedule a consultation.
Although twice-daily brushings and regular flossing are excellent for maintenance between office visits, regular examinations and cleanings are an absolute necessity if you want to maintain your beautiful smile and keep your teeth and gums healthy. Regular dental check-ups with our staff can catch the signs of periodontal disease and other teeth problems in their early stages, possibly preventing tooth loss and saving you a great deal of time, money and suffering. Regular cleanings will help you keep your teeth and gums strong and disease-free. To schedule a cleaning or consultation, please contact our office.
If you’re experiencing bleeding or sensitivity around the gum line when you brush or floss your teeth you may have an early stage of gum disease that is easily treatable with scaling and root planing.
Scaling and root planing are two methods that we use to stop the progression of gum disease in its early stages and possibly reverse any damage to the teeth and gums that may have occurred. During the early stages of gum disease, gums may pull away from teeth and the teeth roots may have tartar on them. Scaling and root planing cleans the tooth and removes this tartar. With proper brushing and flossing, the gum disease will stop progressing and the gums will heal.
